I worked for over 25 years in the corporate IT environment, and since 2002 with my husband who owns his own wellness center. I have created my own successful businesses. I know what challenges exist in the corporate world, and in the world of the small business owner.

 

As I started my company Inner Harmony, my first clients where small business owners ( massage studios, wellness centers, martial arts schools, yoga studios, cafe's, therapist offices) who wanted to provide their clients with a great atmosphere, as well as empowering themselves.

What I love about my practice of Interior Alignment® is that it addresses the needs of 21st century life. We understand what kinds of changes can be made in an office setting that are realistic, doable, and affordable. And most importantly effective. We are not only looking at the chi flow in the space, but the effects of indoor air pollution and how to remediate this, the effects of electromagnetic fields in the space, and how to resolve this for employees, and the effects of light and color.

I consider working with businesses and in a business setting a very sacred honor and privilege. A business has a mission, a purpose, almost a life force of it's own. And the people there can be much more effective in carrying out their mission if they are in an atmosphere of clarity, comfort, and one that is designed to support their goals. Being allowed in this honored space, and suggesting enhancements is something I don't take lightly.

And, every consultation is kept in utmost confidence.

CASE STUDY:

One of my clients is a successful photographer. However, he was working much harder than perhaps he needed to be. This is his reception area and office space in his studio. He didn't have a desk in in office, and was doing all his computer work in his home. Needless to say, his personal life was suffering too.

He actually had the front door blocked and locked, and all clients entered through a side entrance.

My recommendation included rearranging what he already owned ( and with a few new strategic purchases), we created an office space that both suited his needs, welcomed clients, and felt like a place to work.

This may seem obvious, however, when you are working day to day in a space, you get into a pattern where you truly have a hard time seeing it evolve into anything different. This is different that having a designer or redesigner work in your space. While it can and should look beautiful and be functional, it also created for this business owner a sense of control ( sitting in a command position, a place to calm his mind, and ways to feel focused ( less clutter, better storage)

MY BACKGROUND:

I am very proud of my certification in Instinctive Feng Shui through Denise Linn, as this ties all my other training together in a manner which most fully assists my clients in achieving maximum potential in use of feng shui. For more information on my background, click here.

My First Corporate

Feng Shui job:

I have been a Feng Shui practitioner since 1999, with my first projects located in the field of health care. 

 I was the IT manager at

a a nationally know rehabilitation facility.

I was also a member of the 'House Committee',

and through the simple changes of furniture arrangement, new paint, placement of art,

changes in cleaning products, use of color therapeutics,

and other easy and inexpensive changes, we shifted patient areas,

hallways, employee lounges and conference rooms,

 with remarkable effects,

for both the staff

and the patients.
